Opportunities to get involved in volunteering are available at Zoe Center. The ministries that we have available are designed to help meet the needs people experience at different stages of life.
Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free. Ephesians 6:7-8

Small Groups
SMALL GROUP VISION
The vision of Small Groups is discipleship. This is in obedience to the command of Jesus
and the primary way for discipleship to be carried out (Matthew 38:19).
At Zoe Center, discipleship is defined as Christ being formed in us (Romans 8:29) and us
forming Christ in others (Matthew 28:19).
At Zoe Center, why are Small Groups the primary way discipleship will be carried out? The
reason is based on the pattern set by God in the early church where believers assembled
in large gatherings (Hebrews 10:24-25) and in smaller gatherings from house to house
(Acts 2:42,46).
SMALL GROUP PURPOSE
The purpose or the expected outcomes of Small Groups at Zoe Center are:
* Spiritual Growth
* Relational Connections/Friendships (safe, vulnerable)
* Leadership Development (opportunities to grow by serving others)
SMALL GROUP CULTURE
The culture of the groups will reflect the culture of Zoe Center, which can be described in two ways:
Relationship Rich
This is defined by creating a welcoming, friendly, non-judgmental, safe, meaningful
environment where intentional listening takes place.
Spiritual Formation
This is defined by opening the Word of God around a verse, passage, a story, etc. As the
facilitator prompts a discussion with a question(s), then others can share and learn through
the insights and perspectives of others. Prayer will also contribute to the spiritual
formation of the group.
